Ties to the Bahamas Sailing Association

BNSS was formed in November 2004 by Jimmie Lowe, John Lawrence and Peter-Bruce Wassitsch under the guidance of Bahamas Sailing Association (BSA).

The school is managed on a daily basis by Director – BNSS with BSA Director Operations providing guidance and assistance where needed. In addition to the Director, the school operates with a full-time instructor, who teaches and maintains all equipment. 

BSA is the national authority for sailing in The Bahamas and reports to the World Sailing Organization.

Key members of the BSA Committee directly involved with BNSS and the junior sailing programs are:
